This painting was joy to work on. I was honored to be asked by my sister-in-law to paint a portrait of her daughter and pup as a surprise gift for my brother-in-law's birthday. It was a big milestone birthday and she wanted to present him with something special. His birthday was last week... (Happy Birthday Kyle!) Now that the date (and the surprise) is over, I'm free to post the image here on my blog.
